In the second match, the Rangpur Riders registered an unexpected victory against the Khulna Royal Bengals. This match was played in Chittagong too.
Batting first, the Riders could only manage a paltry 122 in their full quota. The Irishman, Kevin O'Brien top scored with 24 off 30 balls. The entire innings was extremely sluggish.
For the Bengals, all the bowlers bowled tight, but Daniel Harris was the best bowler with figures of 3 for 22, in his 4 overs.
The Bengal batsmen got starts, but could not capitalize. And, to further dent the progress, the lower order and tail was blown away by Fidel Edwards.
Edwards finished with 4 wickets, and gave away only 11 runs in his 3.4 overs. The Riders captain, Abdur Razzak also bowled well, and grabbed three wickets.
